i know it has been forever since i have written last, so i do apologize. to say that life has been crazy would be an understatement! i will try to fill you all in of my adventures the last month or so in a condensed version.
as most of you know, my life as a new mexican has come to an end. it actually ended abruptly and sooner than expected, but God has been good to me, and has quickly made it evident where He wants me next. i'm not sure i can fully vow that i totally adjusted to the new mexican culture of the dirt roads, cold wind, adobe buildings, tumble weeds, and green chili at every meal. i can say, however; that the broken drug addicted people of the city will forever be engraved on my heart. i will always remember my first traveling ER family and am so thankful for them making me feel like home. i never thought that leaving an assignment that was so vastly different than what i am used to would be so difficult, but i am grateful for the time i did have there. my prayer now is that God continues to be glorified even after i'm gone.
since this will be my last post about new mexico, i wanted to post some of my favorite pics during my stent there. these are truly some of my favorite people ever, and some are of course not pictured, but just as special. thank you new mexico for the growth, lessons learned, laughs, and memories. i can't wait to see what kind of adventures houston brings!!
